Book Haul // Opshops, Book Depository, and PR

Wednesday, 8 June 2016

This may be a haul full of books I bought without actually knowing what they're about but hey I'll find out sooner or later.

Revenge Wears Prada by Lauren Weisberger
I wasn't that impressed with the first book but I need to know what happens to Andy, it is about Andy right? I'm not sure, but I want to get back into the world of Runway.

The Society Of S by Susan Hubbard
No idea really what this is about apart from the blurb but it looked interesting, and not something I usually read. Thought I'd give it a try seen as most of the books I'm reading at the moment are popular around the book world so it's nice to read something new and fresh.

My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult
We all know the story, I've seen the movie and will get around to reading it at some point. It's not at the top of my list but it's good to have a copy when I eventually get around to it, especially for $2.

A Dance With Dragons Part 1 by George R. R. Martin
Another addition to my Game of Thrones collection, I'm now at 3/7. Unfortunately this is number 6 (or part one of number 5 however you want to look at it) so I still have a couple in between to get before I manage to read this.

The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George
Yes I bought this book because I fell in love with the cover. I have no idea really what it's about other than the title but hey it cant be too bad if it involves Paris and a bookshop right? Don't know what The Book Depository did to this one but it looks in almost the same condition as the opshop books. Either way I'm looking forward to reading this, it's at the top of my tbr pile.

L. A. Candy series by Lauren Conrad
I feel like I've heard a lot of good stuff about these books, however, I can't simply remember if that's true or I've imagined it. Anyway these books are way too pretty to leave behind, especially only being $3 each.

The Sorcerer's Daughter by Terry Brooks*
My boyfriend's Dad recommended this book series to me but little did I realise I was jumping into a series with over 30 books worth of mini series'. Luckily this is only the third in one of the mini series even though it might be like 32th in the entire series I only have to read the other two in this series beforehand. I'm not 100% sure if I need to but I am going to just to make sure, I don't want to be confused. Anyway I'm enjoying the first one in this miniseries so we'll see how I go!

I'm now on holidays for six weeks so my plans for those involve a lot of reading, among other things. Keep an eye out for my latest recently read review post coming soon, probably featuring one or two of these.
